General Description
A weekly vacation rental located in a peaceful picturesque neighbourhood on the edge of the old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, close to Mississauga beach and Ryerson Park, this quaint turn of the century three bedroom gothic cottage farmhouse with original pine floors is furnished with antiques and has a sunny enclosed private garden with a heated pool surrounded by perennials, trellises and 100 year old trees.
Away from the downtown crowds, it is just minutes from the Niagara-on-the-Lake golf course, main street shopping, Niagara wineries, historic Fort George, Fort Mississauga, the Royal George Theatre and the Shaw Festival Theatre. Meticulously restored and maintained, it has a delightful charm that will make you feel instantly at home. Stroll down to the beach in this relaxing neighborhood and watch the evening sun set over the lake. Take a walk around the lanes and see the remaining Chautauqua cottages built late in the 19th century when the area was a summer resort. Go for a bike ride through the vineyards then relax by the pool as you sip one of Niagara's fine local wines.

Local Attractions
Historic Fort George, The Shaw Festival Theatre, The Royal George Theatre, quaint shops, wine shops, many fine restaurants, spas, lakeside parks, biking trails along the Niagara river and beside the vineyards, marina, many golf courses, many wineries, horseback riding, surrounded by wine country, 30 minutes to Niagara Falls and casinos, butterfly conservatory, discount mall. Jet boat and helicopter tours down the Niagara river.

Directions
From Toronto, Ontario (1 1/2hrs)(early morning is best on weekends, avoid rush hour during the week) From Pearson International Airport take the 427 South to the QEW. Take the QEW Niagara past St. Catherines, over the Garden City Skyway. Exit at 38B and follow the signs indicating Hwy 55/ Niagara on the Lake doubling back over the QEW and turn right onto York Road then left onto Airport Road all the way to Hwy 55 . Turn right onto Hwy 55 and drive through the Town of Virgil until you come to the lights at Mary Street at the beginning of the Old Town of Niagara on the Lake. There will be a Sunoco gas station on your left and a Tim Horton’s across the street. Turn left onto Mary Street and drive along until you reach Shakespeare Avenue and turn right. Turn right again two streets down onto Luther Avenue. 10 Luther is the first house on your right. Park in front to unload but please keep your car(s) parked in the driveway.
From Niagara Falls, Ontario (30 minutes) Follow the Niagara Parkway to Niagara on the Lake past the shops on Queen Street past the golf course and onto Niagara Boulevard along the lake and over the creek at One Mile Pond along Mississauga Park until you reach the end. Go left around the bend and onto Shakespeare Avenue. Drive along Shakespeare to the second street which is Luther Avenue and turn left. 10 Luther is the first house on the right. Park in front to unload but please keep your car(s) parked in the driveway.
From the United States, Lewiston, NY Bridge (25 min) At the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge, once you clear Customs, you will charged a toll before entering Canada. Proceed straight ahead on Hwy 405 to the next exit (Stanley Ave), turn right at the stop sign and you will see a signboard indicating Niagara-on-the-Lake. Follow Portage Rd, running parallel to Hwy 405 to the roundabout, taking the second right exit (approx. halfway) onto Niagara
Parkway which leads directly into the Old Town in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Continue past the shops on Queen Street, past the golf course and onto Niagara Boulevard, along the lake and over the creek at One Mile Pond, along Mississauga Park until you reach the end.
